STEP TO INSTALL SQL SERVER MANAGEMENT STUDIO
STEP 1: To start the SQL server installation,
click the first option after selecting installation tab
from the installation center as shown below. Since this is going to be new SQL
server installation select the first option.

2: The installation will then
check all the pre-requisites that are required to install the SQL server. If
everything is fine, you will see green checks as shown below. Click OK.
STEP 3: Enter the product key and click Next. Or choose evaluation edition and click Next.
STEP 4: Make sure to read the license terms clearly and after that accept the license terms and click Next.

5: Check to include SQL server product updates and
click Next.

6: The installation will now download the setup files as shown below.
STEP 7: On the Setup Support Rules page,
need to take attention at the rules, if any rules get “Warning” or “Failed”
status then need to take action before click Next.
STEP 8: After the rules
are checked as shown, at the feature selections click the required and needed
then click Next.
STEP 9: Under Disk Space Requirements, the installation will
show the disk spaces as shown below then after that click next.
STEP 10:
Under Server Configuration, review
the Service Accounts, leave it as defaults. Here, you can also use Active
Directory user for various SQL services then click Next.
STEP 11:
Under Database Engine Configuration,
choose Windows authentication mode.
You also have option to choose both windows
authentication and SQL server
authentication. Then, add the users who will be managing this
SQL server and click Next.
STEP 12:
under Analysis Services Configuration, choose Multidimensional and Data Mining Mode, it will
show the name or your desktop.
STEP 13: At page Reporting Services Configuration, choose at install and configure at Reporting Services Native mode or choice install only. After that at Reporting Services SharePoint Integrated Mode tick the install only then click Next.

14: moreover, at Distributed Replay Controller, click Next.

15: Take note if you want to know where the path of the installation and then
click Next.

16: Under Error Reporting, review the
information and click Next. Likewise,
under Installation and Configuration Rules as
shown below, verify whether all the rules are passed and click Next.
STEP 17: Under Installation Configuration
Rules, show detail if get any failed or warning to avoid any error then click
Next.
STEP 18:
Under Ready to Install, review the
installation information and click the Install button.
STEP 19: After the installation is complete,
click Close. You can now start
creating database.
